Following a career in manufacturing, I spent 12 years lecturing in Management Development. Specialisms included interpersonal skills and facilitating learning.

I was also heavily involved in inputs on Institute of Managers and the Institute of Personal and Development programmes.

During this time, I was Head of School of Trainer Training.

The last 5 years of this time was spent working in industry as an in-house Learning and Development consultant with special responsibiltiy for facilitating the introduction of change. This ranged from skills change in line with new working practices to culture change through initiatives such as Investors in People and 'Empowered teams'.

Since that time I have provided workshops for a wide range of people from a wide range of organisational background.

The main focus has been around enabling managers and team leaders to embrace change more effectively themselves and to help and encourage others to do the same.

NB. Where Associates are required, only those with proven training and organisational track records are used.

The support I can offer you in this area is a blend of professional qualification plus experience as a manager, lecturer and learning and development consultant. 

I have run many workshops specialising in effective learning, interpersonal skills development and helping people embrace change for a wide range of organisations including Barclays Bank, Royal Sun Alliance, Walton Hospital and the Office of National Statistics.

In total I have over 20 years continuous experience designing and running learning and development workshops.

I have been running in-house workshops as an independent Learning and Development cosultant since 1995.

This work blends very well with my Journey work as I can offer additional support skills through such avenues as NLP, coaching for change, assertiveness and more.
