Mastering Change
This is the most in demand and unique of the learning programmes on offer by LMA.
Background
The world of work is experiencing increasingly rapid and fundamental change. ‘New technology’, ‘empowerment’, ‘right sizing’, ‘customer care’, are just some of the current strategies being introduced to enable organisations to compete in an increasingly competitive global market.
In addition to this, individuals are often asked to work longer and/or take on more responsibility. Such changes are placing new and increasing demands on individuals.
Lost time through overwork and stress is on the increase. Work schedules are placing greater strain on leisure and family time.
Increases in temporary contracts, economic uncertainty and career prospects mean that more and more people feel ‘victims’ of change rather than ‘masters’ of it.
Morale, effectiveness and productivity inevitably decline in this environment. This can trigger a continuing downward spiral.
Mastering Change is a unique programme specifically designed to address theses issues.
Workshop structure
Mastering change focuses on two key questions a manager or team leader needs to keep in mind during the turmoil of change.
These are:
1. How can I help my team succeed?
2. How can I help my team to be pro-active towards change?
